Salary: £28,000 - £39,520

Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

The Role

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:

  • Teach a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant.
  • Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities.
  • Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to maintain high educational standards.
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to all stakeholders.
  • Utilize diverse teaching strategies and resources to enhance pupil engagement.
  • Create and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.
  • Adhere to all school policies and procedures in alignment with our values.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Successful experience in SEN teaching.
  • A solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to each pupil's success.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
