Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Support young people with their daily routines
- Build positive relationships and become a trusted adult
- Help them develop confidence, life skills, and independence
- Ensure they feel safe, supported, and encouraged every day
Experience working with children or young people is a plus, but it’s not a requirement. What matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine desire to help others. We provide comprehensive training to ensure you feel confident in your role from day one!
Working Pattern
Your shifts will be on a rotating schedule:
- Each shift lasts 24 hours (you are paid to sleep at the home)
- Typically, you will complete two or three shifts in a row
- Work will include a mix of weekdays and weekends
- Opportunities for overtime are available if desired
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or equivalent (or be willing to work towards it)
- Have a full UK driving licence and access to a car (travel required)
- Be friendly and able to communicate effectively with children and colleagues
- Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)
