Job Details
- Contract Type: Part-Time, Term Time Only
- Salary: £19,790.40 FTE
- Hours: 20 hours per week (3pm - 7pm, Monday - Friday)
- Job Share Option: 10 hours per week, per person considered
Your Responsibilities
As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff. Your tasks will include:
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Emptying and cleaning bins
- Cleaning toilets and bathroom spaces
- Replenishing bathroom supplies
- Dusting, polishing, and straightening furniture
- Tidying communal areas and removing hazards
- Wiping down paintwork, skirting boards, and window ledges
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in cleaning large commercial buildings, preferably schools, colleges, or universities
- Able to lift and move heavy equipment
- Flexible and willing to take on various cleaning tasks
- Proficient in using a range of cleaning equipment and products
- A confident communicator
Additionally, you should be prepared to undergo training in health & safety, confidentiality, and safeguarding practices. An enhanced DBS Check will be required, and the cost will be covered by Kirby Moor School.
