Our Integrated Services Programme (ISP) provides a comprehensive range of support services, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all working together to ensure the best outcomes for children and foster families.
Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high-quality care for children. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload, ensuring effective supervision.
- Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker who is:
- Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents and their invaluable skills.
- Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
- Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation regarding children's services.
- Holds a full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position that offers a challenging yet rewarding environment. You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP.
