Founded in 1987 by a group of devoted foster parents, we proudly became the UK’s first independent foster care agency. With over 30 years of experience, we have always placed the child at the heart of our mission. Our Integrated Services Programme (ISP) offers a comprehensive range of support services, ensuring that children and foster parents receive the assistance they need from a dedicated team of professionals, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists.
Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will:
- Provide direct support to foster parents, managing a realistic caseload that allows for high-quality supervision.
- Conduct regular supervision sessions, enabling foster parents to enhance their practice and comply with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in safeguarding and child protection processes.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced professional who is:
- Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
- Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
- Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
- Holds a full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car.
