We offer a comprehensive range of support, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all working collaboratively to empower foster parents and children alike.
Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker at our Fostering Base in Enfield, you will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high-quality care for children. This is a full-time position with a salary of up to £39,500 per annum, plus a £3,000 car allowance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to foster parents, managing a realistic caseload for effective supervision.
- Conduct regular supervision sessions, monitoring practice and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making.
- Maintain high standards through quality assurance and training for both prospective and current foster parents.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is:
- Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents and their invaluable skills.
- Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
- Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation in children's services.
- Holds a full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car.
Working Conditions
