Your Role: Operations System Coordinator

As an Operations System Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run seamlessly. Collaborating closely with the shift team leader, you will provide vital updates for the receiving area, helping us maintain our high standards.

Shift Pattern: This role operates on a 2-cycle shift pattern over 5 days (Monday-Friday, 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00) and offers a competitive salary along with an additional shift pay of £273 per month.

What You’ll Do:

  • IWS & Standardized Work: Execute processes according to standards, challenge existing processes through root cause analysis, and contribute to updates or new standards.
  • Identifying Complex Losses: Drive continuous improvement in the receiving area and actively participate in loss elimination initiatives.
  • Fundamentals Ownership: Ensure perfect execution of safety, quality, and internal controls, documenting any outages in these areas.
  • Business Results Ownership: Take charge of specific areas and deliverables, ensuring cleanliness and standards are met at the end of each shift.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure timely delivery of daily business and smooth handovers to the next shift.

You might be the perfect candidate if you have:

  • RTITB Trained: Or similar qualifications.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to eliminate or simplify non-value-added work.
  • Decision-Making Skills: Proven capability to understand key business needs and make informed decisions.
  • Leadership: Strong personal accountability and the ability to lead a small team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Solid experience with SAP/TMS/Maestro or similar systems, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Multi-Tasking Ability: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Personal Accountability: A proactive approach to personal development and contributions in areas like First Aid, Working at Height, Fire Rep, or Safety Rep.
