Your Role: As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run seamlessly. You’ll lead a dynamic team, tackle challenges head-on, and drive continuous improvement in our processes.

Shift Pattern: This position operates on a 2-cycle shift pattern over 5 days (Monday-Friday, 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00). Enjoy a competitive salary along with an additional shift pay of £273 per month.

What You’ll Do:

  • IWS & Standardized Work: Execute processes as per standards, challenge inefficiencies, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Identify Complex Losses: Drive continuous improvement in the receiving area and actively participate in loss elimination initiatives.
  • Fundamentals Ownership: Ensure perfect execution of safety, quality, and internal controls, documenting any outages.
  • Business Results Ownership: Take charge of specific areas, ensuring smooth shift handovers and maintaining cleaning standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure timely delivery of daily operations.
  • Leadership: Act as the fundamentals results owner for your shift, completing safety and quality alerts promptly.
  • Team Management: Conduct monthly 1:1s and quarterly reviews, coaching your team to achieve their goals.

Qualifications:

You are the right fit if you have:

  • FLT Qualification: Trained and IOSH certified.
  • Problem Solving Skills: Strong ability to eliminate non-value-added work.
  • Decision Making: Proven capability to understand business needs and make informed decisions.
  • Leadership: Strong personal accountability and ability to lead a small team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP/TMS/Maestro or similar, with solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Multi-Tasking Ability: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Personal Accountability: Proactive in personal development and contributing to safety initiatives.
