Your Role: A Satisfying Challenge
As the leader of our site facilities engineering team, covering both Aylesford and Dagenham sites, you’ll ensure our plant, equipment, buildings, and facilities are operating at their best for our clients and colleagues. Your diverse responsibilities will include:
- Conducting audits and inspections
- Ensuring health and safety compliance
- Managing capital planning and contractors
- Developing maintenance and project delivery plans
- Driving ongoing improvements in site performance
What You Bring to the Table
We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Manager with a strong engineering and compliance management background. Here’s what you need to excel in this role:
- Management experience in an FMCG or logistics operation
- A proven track record of enhancing performance in planned maintenance and asset management
- Project management experience, including knowledge of CDM, GMP, 5S, and TPM
- Strong budgetary control skills
- Excellent problem-solving and people management abilities
- Experience managing key systems such as fire prevention, water, air supply, refrigeration, electricity, and dock doors
