Your Work Environment
You’ll be part of the Bristol cluster, covering areas like Bristol (City Centre & Suburbs), Portishead, Clevedon, Filton, Patchway, Yate, and Keynsham. Enjoy the freedom of working in your local area with a clearly planned schedule of appointments—no reactive callouts, just organized, pre-booked work!
What to Expect
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and waiting for you. You’ll carry out:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Member advice and recommendations based on your inspections
- Vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With everything you need from day one—a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set, and advanced diagnostics—you’ll be empowered to get people moving safely and confidently.

What You’ll Need
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
