Finance Control is looking for a Technical Oracle EPM Planning Administrator (6 Month FTC) based out of Milton Keynes.
This is a hands-on, technical role requiring an experienced Oracle Planning profes-sional who can hit the ground running from day one. You will take ownership of development, support and optimisation of our Oracle EPM Planning application, with a great focus on Essbase calculation scripting and Groovy business rule development.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the stability, performance and continuous im-provement of our Planning environment, supporting critical financial processes across budgeting, forecasting and reporting cycles.

Salary Range:
£53,500.00 - £80,250.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.

- Designing, developing and maintaining Oracle EPM Planning business rules, including advanced Essbase calc scripts (Required)
- Writing and enhancing Groovy rules within Oracle Planning to deliver dynamic, metadata-driven solutions (Required)
- Supporting and optimising Planning forms, calculation performance and data integration processes (Required)
- Troubleshooting production issues across Planning, Essbase and Data Management integrations (Required)
- Driving technical improvements to enhance performance, automation and control across the Planning estate (Required)
- Managing metadata updates, security configuration and environment migrations across Dev/Test/Prod (Required)
- Working closely with Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions (Required)

Professional Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience administering Oracle EPM Planning / PBCS / EPBCS applications (Required)
- Great technical experience writing complex Essbase BSO calculation scripts (Required)
- Proven experience developing and deploying Groovy business rules in Oracle Planning (Required)
- Experience supporting financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes within a large organisation (Preferred)
- Experience working within a regulated financial services environment (Preferred)
Education
- Degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline (Preferred)
- Relevant Oracle EPM certifications (Preferred)
Hard Skills
- Oracle EPM Planning (Cloud) administration (Required)
- Essbase BSO cube design and performance optimisation (Required)
- Groovy scripting within Oracle Planning (Required)
- Data Management / EDMCS / integration tooling knowledge (Preferred)
- Excellent understanding of financial planning and forecasting concepts (Required)
