Veritas Careers arerecruiting for an Established DealerGroup who have arequirement for a Technician to jointheir busy Volumedealership.

You will work in a busy preparation centre working with and alongside a variety of specialist teams.

Requirements

You will haveexperience of doing PDI's and preping cars,routine maintenance,fault finding and will be able to demonstratea "right firsttime" mindset.

Vehicle Technician - The Person:

• Full UK driving license.
• A keen eye for detail and recognising the importance of giving every car in our workshop the highest standard of care.
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to overcome challenges and solve problems quickly.
• A huge passion for learning and keeping up with industry innovations to help you perform at your best.
• Communication with Worksop Controller/Manager to ensure that quality repairs are carried out on all vehicles.
• Strong technical background with experience of working as motor vehicle mechanic in similar role.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to carry out repairs efficiently and to a high level of quality.
• A minimum of NVQ L3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• A qualified diagnostic technician, preferably multi-brand.
• Must be fully trained and be able to demonstrate both speed & quality of work.

Vehicle Technician - The Duties:

• Utilising your mechanical knowledge to carry out repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including clutch replacement and cam belt replacement.
• Effectively and productively repair vehicles from brake pads and tyres to oil and filter checks.
• Complete minor electrical work as and when required.
• Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical & vehicle diagnostics.
• Working against set parameters to inspect the mechanical condition of vehicles.
• Performing technical vehicle assessments.
