Your Work Schedule
- 40 hours per week with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

You’ll be part of the Streatham cluster, covering vibrant areas like Streatham, Brixton, Tulse Hill, West Norwood, Dulwich, and Sydenham. Enjoy the freedom of working in your local area with a clearly planned schedule of appointments.
Your Daily Experience
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and waiting for you. You’ll be responsible for:
- Routine servicing
- Advanced diagnostics using cutting-edge mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Providing member advice and recommendations
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With SMR, you’ll have the time and tools to do quality work, ensuring every job is completed to the highest standard.

What You’ll Need
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
