Ridgeway Secure Inpatient Services is seeking diverse, dynamic, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the recovery, rehabilitation, and empowerment of our service users.
We provide specialist care for adults with mental health disorders, learning disabilities, or autism delivering individualised, comprehensive care packages within both Medium and Low Secure inpatient settings alongside wider teams.
As part of your role, you may be required to work across any of our care pathways, supporting both male and female service users. This offers a varied, rewarding experience while developing a broad skill set within secure care.
Please be advised, if shortlisted, you will be invited to attend a mandatory face-to-face assessment day on Wednesday 1st of July. The day will include registration (where you will be required to provide evidence of your Right to Work in the UK and all necessary qualifications, a group exercise and an individual interview. Failure to attend this assessment day and bring the appropriate documentation with you could mean we will be unable to progress your application.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting and challenging role and will afford the opportunity to work as part of a supportive team that is focused on delivering high standards of care through evidenced based practice.
We will support you by offering regular supervision, training opportunities and encourage your development and role within this team on the delivery of Patient Centred Care, support for carers and evidence based practice, working in a whole systems approach with our partner agencies.
Main Duties of the role is supporting the wards in delivering excellent patient care and assisting the Nurse in Charge in completing nursing tasks / jobs and care rounds / observations.
