Qualifications

Essential criteria

• Qualified registered nurse/midwife

• Evidence of level 6 study

• Experience of working on own and as part of a team
• Ability to supervise and support junior staff
• Awareness of clinical Audit
• Evidence of teaching and assessing skills/ability

• Evidence undertaking a supervisor/preceptor role
• Experience in relevant area of practice

• Able to work as part of a team
• Proven ability to problem- solve
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrates awareness of own limitations
• Ability to organise workload and delegate tasks appropriately
• Well developed organisational skills.
