Recovery Officer (Nights)

The Vacancy

Join our Housing advice and Homeless Prevention Services for exciting opportunities to participate in keeping people safe and well under the direct supervision of our Housing Management Co-Ordinator. This exciting role will be to assist in maintaining individual households are safe and secure in suitable temporary accommodation. Our aim is to prepare households for living independently in their eventual permanent homes, secured through the social register or through private rents.

The role will promote inclusion, independence and well-being through the use of Outcome tools which will be completed jointly under supervision. Support will be provided in a person-centred way using a strength-based approach.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a motivated person with excellent communication skills who can manage their time effectively and prioritise their workload. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
• You must hold English and Maths GCSE A-C or 4+ or working towards
• Have good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good time management
• Basic IT skills • Ability to meet deadlines
• Team working
• Ability to attend training.
• Have an Adult Care Worker Qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience

Be flexible to work nights on a 7 day rota basis.

This role will be carried out in locations within the Scunthorpe area.
