Are you a passionate and experienced nurse looking to develop your expertise in orthopaedic care? We are offering a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Arthroplasty on a 12-month post.

This role will support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care for individuals undergoing joint replacement surgery. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to enhanced recovery pathways, patient education, and support the current CNS.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing input into the care of patients undergoing hip and knee arthroplasty
• Support and develop enhanced recovery protocols
• Deliver patient education
• Participate in audit, service development, and quality improvement initiatives
• Act as a resource for ward staff and junior colleagues

About You

We're looking for a registered nurse with:

• Experience in orthopaedic nursing
• A keen interest in developing specialist knowledge in arthroplasty
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A commitment to improving patient outcomes and experience

This post is ideal for someone seeking to grow into a CNS role, with support from the two current post holders, senior nursing and orthopaedic colleagues.
