The Position

As a Psychology Teacher, you will be instrumental in sparking curiosity and cultivating a deep understanding of the human mind and behavior in students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, analysis, and the application of psychological principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum and cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Foster student engagement through interactive activities, discussions, and real-world examples.
• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative methods, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Social Sciences or Humanities department to enrich the curriculum and promote cross-curricular learning opportunities.
• Stay abreast of developments in psychological research and incorporate relevant findings into your teaching practice.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level.
• A passion for the subject matter and the ability to inspire students.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
