Live In Housekeeper in Thatcham

A live in housekeeper is required by lovely family in the Berkshire area to help in maintaining the upkeep of their property. They seek a pet friendly candidate who would be comfortable with their four dogs and willing to provide occasional care for them when they are on holiday. A candidate who can cook will be advantageous for the role.

The family is ideally looking for a housekeeper who can drive, but this is not an absolute requirement. The candidate should be happy to start immediately.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7 am to 1 pm

Accommodation: Own two bedroom cottage with a living room, kitchen and bathroom.

Duties include:

• loading the dishwasher/doing the dishes
• dusting furniture
• freshening the rooms
• doing the laundry and ironing of the family
• dusting
• hoovering the carpets and floors
• ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
• polishing floor
• preparing and cooking simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
• running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family's supplies and paying bills
