Your Rewarding Role Awaits
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £40,178, with potential on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
- Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your earnings with optional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- Structured Hours: Work 40 hours a week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Work Environment
You’ll be part of the Exeter cluster, covering areas like:
- Exeter
- Exmouth
- Sidmouth
- Honiton
- Tiverton
- Newton Abbot
- Torquay
- Paignton
- Dawlish
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked. You’ll carry out:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs
- Member advice and recommendations
- Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
