Your Work Environment
As part of the Exeter cluster, you’ll cover areas like:
- Exeter
- Exmouth
- Sidmouth
- Honiton
- Tiverton
- Newton Abbot
- Torquay
- Paignton
- Dawlish
You’ll be out on the road, working through a clearly planned schedule of appointments—no reactive callouts, just organized, pre-booked work!
What to Expect
Your day will start with a clear digital schedule, and you’ll be responsible for:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Providing member advice and recommendations
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With everything you need from day one—a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and advanced diagnostics—you’ll have the tools to get people moving safely and confidently.

What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
