Are you ready to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for passionate Quantity Surveyors to join our dynamic Southern Water team based in Falmer and Chatham. This is your chance to be part of an exciting £3.1bn Strategic Development Partnership with Southern Water, where your contributions will help shape vital water infrastructure projects.

Location & Flexibility

Work from the comfort of your home with remote working options available! You’ll spend 3 days on-site each week, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life effectively.

Hours

We offer a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, but we’re open to condensed working, part-time, or job share arrangements to suit your needs.

Your Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key player in our Commercial team, focusing on:

• Managing project finances, including preparing applications for payment and monitoring costs.
• Building strong relationships with subcontractors and clients to ensure seamless financial processes.
• Supporting procurement activities and providing insightful commercial evaluations.
• Identifying changes and assisting with Change Control procedures.
• Ensuring all contractual notifications are accurately maintained.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

• You have experience with NEC contracts and Target Costs.
• You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy building relationships across teams.
• You have a background in the construction, water, or civil infrastructure sectors.
• You’re proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• You possess strong communication skills and enjoy engaging with clients.
