Salary: £14,600.04 per annum
Contract Term: Apprenticeship
Location: Long Eaton, Nottingham
Hours: 35 hours per week

Embark on your career journey with a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship! You'll have dedicated time during your workweek to attend classes, whether in-person or online, typically one day a week.

Your Role

As our Apprentice Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our team and ensuring smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support, including:
    • Maintaining databases
    • Producing professional emails and letters
    • Processing incoming and outgoing post
    • Photocopying and message taking
    • Processing invoices
  • Assisting the social work team with data collection and filing
  • Maintaining accurate records of families and children
  • Building supportive relationships with foster parents
  • Liaising with Local Authority Social Workers and other professionals
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety records
  • Creating content for our online platforms and newsletters
  • Representing and promoting Fosterplus at every opportunity

Are You the Right Fit?

We are looking for someone who possesses:

  • Basic administration skills
  • GCSE/equivalent in maths and English (A Level 2 Functional Skills qualification can be completed alongside your apprenticeship)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good organizational abilities and the capacity to manage your own workload
  • A proactive attitude, open to direction and seeking advice when needed

Note: The successful candidate will need to complete a DBS check, which will be covered by Fosterplus.
