Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our foster parents and ensuring the highest standards of care for our children. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
- Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practice and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making processes.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is:
- Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
- Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
Essential Qualifications:
- A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Previous experience in children and families social work.
- A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
- A full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.
Working Conditions
This is a demanding yet rewarding position that requires a commitment to maintaining high standards and providing training to foster parents. The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP.
