Salary: Up to £39,500 per annum

Your Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to fostering. You will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions, monitoring practice and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
  • A full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.

This position is demanding yet rewarding, requiring excellent report writing skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines. You will also need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which we will cover.
