Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Administrator, you will play a crucial role in our office team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support, including:
- Maintaining databases
- Producing professional emails and letters
- Processing incoming and outgoing post
- Photocopying and message taking
- Processing invoices
- Supporting the social work team with data collection and filing
- Maintaining accurate records of families and children placed
- Building supportive relationships with foster parents
- Liaising with Local Authority Social Workers and other professionals
- Monitoring training records and ensuring compliance
- Taking minutes at team meetings and distributing them
- Creating content for our online platforms and newsletters
- Representing and promoting Fosterplus at every opportunity
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Basic administration skills
- GCSE/equivalent in maths and English (A Level 2 Functional Skills qualification can be completed alongside your apprenticeship)
- Ability to manage your own workload and work independently
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency in IT and electronic communications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills
- A willingness to learn and seek guidance when needed
Important Note: The successful candidate will need to complete a DBS check, which will be covered by Fosterplus.
