Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our foster parents and ensuring the highest standards of care for the children. This is a dynamic position that combines quality assurance and training, allowing you to make a real difference in the lives of families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload, ensuring high levels of supervision.
- Conduct regular supervision sessions, monitoring practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is passionate about fostering and understands the vital role of foster parents. Your collaborative approach will help foster meaningful relationships and effective supervision.
- Hold a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Previous experience in children and families social work.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
- Full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car.
Working Conditions
