Your Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be a vital part of our team in Southampton. Your days will be dynamic and fulfilling as you:

  • Support young people with their daily routines
  • Build positive relationships and become a trusted adult
  • Help them develop confidence, life skills, and independence
  • Ensure they feel safe, supported, and encouraged every day

No prior experience is necessary; what matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine desire to help others. We provide comprehensive training to ensure you feel confident from day one!

Working Pattern

Your shifts will be on a rotating schedule, typically consisting of:

  • 24-hour shifts (with paid sleep-in time)
  • Two to three shifts in a row
  • A mix of weekdays and weekends
  • Opportunities for overtime if desired

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or equivalent (or be willing to work towards it)
  • Have a full UK driving licence and access to a car (travel required)
  • Be friendly and able to communicate effectively with children and colleagues
  • Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)
