The Role

As our SEN Class Teacher, you will teach a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your students.

You will be expected to:

  • Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure high educational standards.
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance pupil engagement and learning.
  • Create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
  • Adhere to all school policies and procedures in line with our values.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Successful experience in SEN teaching.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every pupil.

The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, with the cost covered by Polaris Community.
