The Role

As an SEN Class Teacher, you will teach a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your students.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Motivating pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations
• Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure high educational standards
• Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress, providing regular feedback
• Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement and learning
• Creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment
• Adhering to all school policies and procedures in line with our values

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
• Successful experience in SEN teaching
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to every pupil's success

The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, with the cost covered by Polaris Community.
