About Our Nursery

Busy Bees Andover Picket Twenty, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 72 children in four bright, unique rooms tailored to meet the diverse needs of our little ones. We care for ages from 3 months to 5 years, making us an excellent choice for babies up to children preparing for school. Located within a new housing development in Picket Twenty, Andover, we have strong community ties, including visits from the local fire and police departments. With easy access to the A303 and A34, we are just a stone’s throw away from Pilgrims Cross Primary School, reinforcing our commitment to community engagement. Plus, we offer free parking for staff, ensuring convenient access during drop-offs and collections.

Role Responsibilities

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:

  • Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children’s growth and learning.
  • Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development and care needs while building strong family connections.

Required Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
