With a competitive salary of up to £39,500 per annum and a full-time, permanent contract, this is your chance to be part of something truly special!

With over 30 years of experience, we have built a strong foundation focused on providing integrated support services for looked-after children. Our unique therapeutic approach to fostering involves a collaborative network of professionals, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all dedicated to supporting foster parents and the children in their care. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to foster parents, managing a realistic caseload that allows for meaningful supervision.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions with allocated foster parents, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is:

  • Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents and their invaluable skills.
  • Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • A strong report writer who can meet strict deadlines.

Essential Qualifications

  • Hold a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
  • Full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car.

Working Conditions

This is a demanding yet rewarding position that includes both quality assurance and training roles for prospective and current foster parents. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP.
