Salary: £28,000 - £39,520

Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

Your Role

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:

  • Teach a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant.
  • Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of your students.
  • Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to maintain high educational standards.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to students and their families.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement and learning.
  • Create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
  • Adhere to all school policies and procedures in line with our values.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Successful experience in SEN teaching.
  • A solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to every pupil's success.

All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
