Your Rewarding Role Awaits
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive Base Salary: Start with £40,178, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000!
- Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- Structured Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and just 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Daily Adventure
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and the member is expecting you. You’ll carry out:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Member advice and recommendations based on your inspections
- Vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and advanced diagnostics at your disposal, you’ll have everything you need to get people moving safely and confidently.
What You’ll Need
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
