Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re looking for a BIM Manager to join our dynamic KierBAM team based in Plymouth. This is your chance to be at the forefront of an exciting redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site!
Location
You'll be working from our Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth, with the flexibility of remote working available. Regular travel to the office will be required.
Working Hours
This role requires a commitment of 42.5 hours per week.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country.
- Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.
- We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
Your Responsibilities
As our BIM Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the Project Information team, driving excellence through digital construction. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Leading model coordination and validation across the project team and sub-contractors.
- Collaborating with the Project Information Manager to produce and manage the project BIM brief.
- Working with multiple stakeholders to manage design risk through federation tools.
- Providing training and guidance to team members and the wider project supply chain.
- Managing the development of project information aligned with contract requirements.
What We’re Looking For

- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for nurturing collaborative relationships.
- You are proficient in model authoring software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Solibri, and ProjectWise.
- You have experience implementing ISO19650 standards.
- You enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting others in embracing digital construction methods.
- You demonstrate a thoughtful approach to design risk management and problem-solving.
