Our Integrated Service Programme (ISP) offers a comprehensive range of support services, ensuring that children and foster parents receive the help they need from a dedicated team of professionals, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists.

Your Role

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will:

  • Provide direct support to foster parents, managing a realistic caseload that allows for meaningful supervision.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions, enabling foster parents to enhance their practice while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate full participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is:

  • Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents and their invaluable skills.
  • Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Possessing a full driving licence and unrestricted access to your own car.

Qualifications

  • A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position that includes a quality assurance role to maintain high standards and a training role for prospective and current foster parents. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP.
