Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Survey CAD Modelling Technician to join our dynamic team at the KierBAM JV 10 Docks Civil Engineering Project, located in the stunning Devonport Royal Docks, Plymouth.

This is a full-time position with some flexibility on hours available. Just let us know your preferences when you speak to us!

Important Information

  • We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required, which can take up to 8 weeks. Eligibility criteria include holding a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and having resided in the UK for the past 5 years.

Your Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in a cutting-edge civil engineering project! As a Survey CAD Modelling Technician, you will:

  • Verify and process survey data from field surveyors, including total station surveys to report on construction stages.
  • Process laser scanning surveys, cleaning and modelling data to ensure construction tolerances are met.
  • Ensure accurate collection and recording of survey data, adhering to project quality assurance and control standards.
  • Provide drawing and modelling services to support the survey, engineering, and construction teams.
  • Manage and archive survey files and records using the project's document management system.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

  • Hold a degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Architecture, or Construction.
  • Have strong skills in AutoCAD (Civil3D) and Revit, with 3-5 years of experience in a similar position within the construction industry.
  • Possess an understanding of BIM or digital construction processes and document control requirements.
  • Exhibit excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Hold a CSCS Card and relevant site safety qualifications, and are a member of CInstCES or working towards membership.
