At Kier Transportation, we are excited to partner with National Highways to deliver significant projects across the Northwest. We are on the lookout for a Major Projects Quality and Performance Manager to join our dynamic M6 Lune Gorge team within RDP North. This is your chance to shape quality, drive performance, and make a real impact on a flagship project!

Location & Hours

Location: M6 Lune Gorge (RDP North) – site-based with some remote working

Hours: 45 hours per week

Compensation

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per year

Benefits: Includes private healthcare, a £6,700 annual car allowance, and excellent additional benefits.

Your Responsibilities

As our Major Projects Quality and Performance Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving quality excellence across the M6 Lune Gorge scheme. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and developing the business assurance system to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Leading internal audits and supporting external assurance reviews.
  • Building strong relationships with teams, suppliers, and clients to foster a positive quality culture.
  • Reporting on quality and performance metrics to both Kier and National Highways.
  • Leading process reviews and sharing best practices across the project.

What We’re Looking For

This role could be a perfect fit for you if you possess:

  • Experience working with ISO standards as a Lead Auditor, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong quality assurance knowledge, including the ability to manage non-conformances and share lessons learned.
  • A solid understanding of integrated management systems and process improvement.
  • Confidence in engaging with clients and building collaborative stakeholder relationships.
  • A genuine passion for wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion, along with a commitment to creating a positive team environment.
