Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge at Butlin's? The Supervisor Plus role is your chance to shine! As the main point of contact for your team, you’ll be the driving force behind our operational success, ensuring high standards and compliance across the department.
In this dynamic position, you’ll report directly to the Manager and play a crucial role in fulfilling daily operational plans. Your mission? To ensure that tasks and objectives are met while managing fluctuating guest demands and maintaining an exceptional guest experience.
Your primary focus will be on accommodation during our busy intake days on Monday and Friday, with flexibility to support other departments throughout the week. This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to create unforgettable experiences for our guests!
Your Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Be hands-on in ensuring your team effectively meets all key tasks and objectives.
- Coaching & Development: Guide your team to achieve targets, such as retail upselling and promotions.
- Audit Responsibility: Oversee CAFF audits in accommodation and other departmental audits as needed.
- Guest Experience: Monitor and enhance the quality of guest experiences in line with brand guidelines.
- Feedback Management: Capture and act on guest feedback to continuously improve our services.
- Team Communication: Ensure effective communication between management and your team.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong connections across the resort and with central support teams.
- People Support: Assist with onboarding and employee lifecycle tasks, from performance management to training.
Key Focus Areas
As a Supervisor Plus, you’ll also support operational excellence in our Buffets, Bars & Shops, and Restaurants & QSRs. Here’s what you’ll focus on:
1. Food Safety Champion
- Lead by example in maintaining top-notch food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure all team members adhere to procedures, including allergen management and safe food handling.
2. Creating a Warm, Welcoming Dining Experience
- Greet guests with a friendly, personalized welcome that reflects the Butlin’s brand.
- Resolve guest queries promptly and professionally.
3. Coaching & Developing the Team
- Provide on-shift coaching to build team confidence and capability.
- Support new team members with structured training on service standards.
Your Qualifications
- Exceptional leadership skills with a knack for coaching and supporting your team.
- Strong attention to detail for audit and observation activities.
- Experience in guest-facing roles, adept at handling queries and complaints.
- Proven ability to drive sales and promotions.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing demands.
