Opportunity to progress to £14.15 at your own pace. You’ll be supporting four wonderful individuals; three women and a man, who enjoy a wide range of activities including dancing, karaoke, baking & cooking, day trips, bowling, arts and crafts and more! We are currently looking for female Autism Practitioners to join our team – so if you’re someone who loves getting involved and having fun, this could be the perfect role for you!Autism Practitioners work as part of a team to:- Continually develop and implement personalised support plans for supported people,- Build positive relationships with supported people,- Work in partnership with supported people, their families, support network and health professionals,- Work with stakeholders to ensure people’s life goals and aspirations are at the centre of their support.On a day-to-day basis, Autism Practitioners enable people to:- Make informed choices using their preferred communication methods,- Take part in their chosen activities, attending local events, shopping, going on holiday, etc. Practitioners can expect to go out and about with supported individuals to places of interest,- Complete all necessary tasks which enable them to maintain their homes, including paying bills and supporting them to make the decisions that matter to them,- Live as independently as possible with support with various life skills, which may include support with personal care.We’re especially keen to hear from those who can be flexible in their approach while following established support plans.
