Join Our Team as a Programmer!

Are you ready to take your programming skills to the next level? We’re looking for a passionate Programmer to join our dynamic team in the heart of Glastonbury, Somerset. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining our high service standards while ensuring that all works are meticulously scoped and documented.

Location & Hours

Location: Glastonbury, Somerset – Site-based, 5 days per week

Hours: Permanent Full-time, 40 hours per week

Please note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.

Your Responsibilities

As a Programmer, you will be at the forefront of planning and coordinating our works programmes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, permitting, and scheduling both planned and reactive works in line with Streetworks requirements.
  • Producing detailed works handovers and scheduling tasks for operational teams.
  • Liaising with clients, third parties, and stakeholders to optimize network occupancy.
  • Assessing plant and material needs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring cost-effective planning.
  • Maintaining clear and accurate programmes with correct information, ensuring compliance throughout.
