Join Our Team as a Quantity Surveyor!

Are you ready to make a significant impact on the Lune Gorge project? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in delivering commercial excellence and ensuring the success of our project.

Location & Hours

Location: Nationwide – Site-based role in Tebay, Cumbria, with some remote working options available.

Hours: Permanent Full-time, 45 hours per week. We offer flexibility on hours, so just let us know what works for you!

Compensation

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year, plus a £5,000 annual car allowance and additional benefits.

Your Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in:

  • Managing commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin through effective contract control.
  • Producing and submitting valuations, claims, and contract performance data.
  • Monitoring and forecasting financial information for your work packages.
  • Assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks.
  • Maximizing cash flow through control, measurement, and valuation of work.

What We’re Looking For

This role could be a perfect fit for you if you:

  • Hold a relevant construction-related degree.
  • Have a full UK driving licence.
  • Bring previous experience in a commercial role for a contractor, particularly in the transportation or construction sectors.
  • Are comfortable using MS Office, with strong Excel skills.
  • Communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating as part of a team.
