What to Expect

Your day will kick off with a clear digital schedule, featuring pre-booked jobs where members are expecting you. Your responsibilities will include:

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
• Providing member advice and recommendations based on inspections
• Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards

With SMR, you’ll have the time, tools, and support to deliver quality work without the stress of reacting to breakdowns. From day one, you’ll be equipped with a fully stocked RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and a complete tool set.

What You’ll Need

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
