With a competitive base salary of £38,625 and on-target earnings of up to £55,000 (including London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), your journey starts here!

Your Earnings Potential

• Base Salary: Enjoy a market-competitive base salary of £38,625, with opportunities to boost your earnings up to £50,000 through bonuses and premium-rate overtime.
• Guaranteed Overtime: After your first month, opt to work extra rest days at £30 per hour. Just one extra day a month could earn you an additional £3,000 per year!
• Flexibility: A full-time 40-hour week with Monday–Saturday availability (8 am–8 pm) offers you both stability and flexibility.

Your Role as a Mobile Mechanic

As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers—wherever they are! From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. We’ll equip you for success from day one with:

What We’re Looking For

We want someone who gets people. This isn’t just about spanners and engines; our mechanics are out there on driveways, chatting with customers, giving advice, and representing the RAC with pride. Here’s what you’ll need:

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
