We’re on the lookout for caring and motivated Residential Support Workers to join our team in Dorchester. Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Support young people with their daily routines
  • Build positive relationships and become a trusted adult
  • Help them develop confidence, life skills, and independence
  • Ensure they feel safe, supported, and encouraged every day

Experience working with children or young people is a plus, but we welcome those new to this field. We’ll equip you with all the training and support you need to thrive in this role.

Working Pattern

Your shifts will be on a rotating schedule:

  • Each shift lasts 24 hours, and you will be paid to sleep at the home.
  • Typically, you will complete two or three shifts in a row.
  • Your schedule will include a mix of weekdays and weekends.
  • Overtime opportunities are available if you wish to earn more!

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or equivalent, or be willing to work towards it
  • Have a full UK driving licence and access to a car, as travel is required
  • Be friendly and able to communicate effectively with children and colleagues
  • Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)
