Welcome to the SMR Division! Unlike traditional roadside rescue, our focus is on delivering planned, structured repairs directly to our members. Say goodbye to emergency callouts and unpredictable shifts. Instead, you’ll:

• Work through a scheduled list of jobs.
• Utilize advanced mobile equipment for diagnostics.
• Perform in-depth repairs typically done in a workshop.
• Provide valuable advice and recommendations to members.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards.

Your Work Environment

As part of the Exeter cluster, you’ll cover areas like Exeter, Exmouth, Sidmouth, and more. Enjoy the freedom of being out on the road, tackling pre-booked appointments without the stress of reactive callouts.

What You’ll Need

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
