What Will You Do?

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people in a safe and welcoming home. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting young people with their daily routines
• Building positive relationships and being a trusted adult
• Helping them develop confidence, life skills, and independence
• Ensuring they feel safe, supported, and encouraged every day

Working Pattern

Your work will involve a shift rota, with each shift lasting 24 hours. You will typically complete two or three shifts in a row, working a mix of weekdays and weekends. Plus, there’s the opportunity for overtime if you wish!

What Are We Looking For?

To thrive in this role, you should:

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or equivalent (or be willing to work towards it)
• Have a full UK driving licence and access to a car, as travel is required
• Be friendly and able to communicate effectively with children and colleagues
• Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)
