Your Role in SMR
In this role, you’ll experience:
- No Emergency Callouts: Focus on scheduled jobs rather than unpredictable roadside recoveries.
- Local Coverage: Work within the Wembley cluster, covering areas like Wembley, Harrow, and Edgware.
- Planned Appointments: Start each day with a clear digital schedule, ensuring you’re prepared for each job.
What You’ll Do
Your daily tasks will include:
- Routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop.
- Providing member advice and recommendations based on your inspections.
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards.
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
