The Role
As our SEN Class Teacher, you will teach a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Motivating pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure high educational standards
- Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress, providing regular feedback
- Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement and learning
- Creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment
- Adhering to all school policies and procedures in line with our values
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
- Successful experience in SEN teaching
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to every pupil's success
The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
