Your Role
As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers—wherever they may be! From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. We’ll equip you for success from day one with:
- Your own RAC van
- Fuel card
- Full uniform
- Essential tools and diagnostic kit

What We’re Looking For
You’re someone who gets people. This isn’t just about spanners and engines—our mechanics are out there on driveways, chatting with customers, giving advice, and representing the RAC with pride. You’re not just in the RAC—you are the RAC!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years’ hands-on experience as a vehicle technician
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
